Clinical interview
A collaborative conversation to understand your history, strengths, and concerns.
Psychological Testing + fNIRS
Gold-standard psychological testing, paired with a live look at your brain at work. One evaluation, one integrated picture, one plan that actually fits you.
Your evaluation day
Every evaluation follows the same deliberate sequence, so nothing about your day is a surprise.
A collaborative conversation to understand your history, strengths, and concerns.
Comprehensive, evidence-based assessments of cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning.
A short pause to rest, reset, and prepare for the next part of your evaluation.
An engaging brain-training experience that measures prefrontal cortex activity and gives real-time feedback to support self-regulation.
Test results, clinical observations, and neurofeedback insights come together in one clear, personalized picture and plan.
Why we include brain science
The brain is at the center of how we think, learn, feel, and behave. Adding brain-based information helps us see patterns that may not be visible through testing alone, so your recommendations are built from more than scores on a page.
You wear the soft Mendi band while we watch your brain signal live. It runs quietly through your interview and your testing. There is no game and no training here. You simply wear it while we see how you focus and settle as you actually think. What we see becomes one more layer of context in your report, alongside your scores and history. Your diagnosis itself always comes from validated testing and clinical judgment.
What we integrate
The data behind your evaluation
During your 30-minute fNIRS session, two live data streams run on our tablets. This is what they look like, and what each one tells us about you.
These traces never diagnose anything on their own. Their value is in what they add: when your engagement pattern, regulation, and movement data line up with (or complicate) what your standardized testing shows, your clinician documents it, and it becomes one more layer of evidence in your report. Two people can produce identical test scores and very different traces, and that difference shapes recommendations that actually fit how your brain works.
fNIRS shows us blood flow, where the brain is working. EEG (electroencephalography) reads the brain’s electrical rhythms, how fast it is working. We are preparing to pair the two, with a start date to be announced, so future evaluations can draw on both windows into the brain at once: one richer, more complete picture feeding your clinical profile.
