Neuro-Paired Therapy

Therapy with a plan.

Not open-ended sessions that drift. A structured program with a clear start, real phases, a progress benchmark at 26 sessions, and a graduation at the end.

Round Rock, Texas In person and virtual care

What it is

Real therapy. Measurable change.

Every weekly hour in the program is bookended with a short brain-training round. You settle in with a soft sensor band across your forehead while our neurofeedback fNIRS software runs the training and your clinician watches the live signal, documenting what they see as it happens. The band uses fNIRS, near-infrared light, to read activity in the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that handles focus and emotional regulation. No electrodes, no gel, no radiation.

  • A measure at open and close
Ten quiet minutes to start, ten to end, so your progress through the program is something you can see and not only feel.
  • Come in, train, head home
The training station is also open between sessions. No therapy appointment, nothing to talk through, just practice.
  • More on the way
This fNIRS technology is our first step into neuro-informed care. We are actively exploring more neuro-focused devices.

Because that is roughly how long it takes

Measurable change is possible.

Decades of outcome research show a predictable pattern: the share of people with measurable improvement climbs with each block of sessions.

The focus game

Focus you can actually see.

Every session opens and closes with a short round on a soft headband. No controller, no tapping. Your focus alone moves the scene, which is what turns an invisible skill into something you can practice.

  • It makes focus practicable
Steady attention moves you forward and brightens the scene. Drifting slows it down. You feel the difference the moment it happens, which is what lets you train it.
  • Your clinician learns what steadies you
They watch the same live signal and note which strategies lift it for you, not for people in general.
  • What works in the round becomes the work in the hour
The strategy that holds your focus on screen is the one we take into the situations that made you call us.
  • Progress you can point at
A few simple numbers come back after each round. Your clinician reads them with you, and the trend across sessions is part of your session-26 review.

How it helps

This is what your clinician is watching

Each brain-training round streams live to our tablets. Two traces, captured at the open and close of every session, quietly build the record we review together at your session-26 benchmark.

Your rounds run on our neurofeedback fNIRS software. Each round is focused practice at driving oxygen-rich blood to your prefrontal cortex on purpose: settle in and focus and the signal climbs, drift and it dips. Like reps in a gym, repetition makes that recruitment easier. And the training station is open between appointments, so you can come in, train, and head home, no therapy hour required.

What to expect over the weeks: rounds tend to get easier, settling comes faster, focus holds longer, and the trend lines above climb. Many people notice it carrying into daily life, catching a wandering mind sooner and settling more quickly before stressful moments. Your pace is your own, so we track your trend, not any single round. This is a wellness training tool, not a medical treatment.

Engagement you can see. The green trace is your fNIRS signal during a training round: oxygen-rich blood reaching your focus and regulation center as you engage. Over months, these traces become a trend, evidence that your capacity to settle, focus, and regulate is strengthening, not just feeling better.

Settling, measured. The orange trace tracks head movement during the round. Watch the shape: busy early, then still. For many people, the time it takes to settle shrinks week over week, and that curve is one of the most honest progress measures we have, because it cannot be performed.
