This notice explains what happens to information when you use amleacare.com. It covers the website only. Information you share as a client of Amlea Behavioral Healthcare is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, provided when you begin care.

amleacare.com is a static informational website. It does not require an account, and it does not set cookies of its own. Like every website, our hosting provider (Netlify) records basic technical information about requests, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used to operate and secure the site.
The site includes a small script that records generic interaction events (for example, "appointment button clicked" or "phone link clicked") into the page's own memory. These events contain the page address and title only, never form contents or your answers in the Start Here tool. No analytics service currently receives them. If Amlea later adds a measurement tool, this notice will be updated and the same privacy rules will apply.
The guided matcher on /start-here/ runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not stored, transmitted or shared, and they are cleared when you leave the page. It is a navigation aid and not a diagnostic tool.
If you arrive from a link that includes campaign codes (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the site keeps those three values in your browser's session storage for the duration of your visit so that generic events can be attributed to the campaign. These values are not combined with any personal or health information and are not passed to our scheduling system.
Appointment requests are handled in our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal operated by SimplePractice (amlea-care.clientsecure.me). Information you enter there is protected under that system and under Amlea's Notice of Privacy Practices. The portal has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.
The message form on the contact page is for general, non-clinical questions. It is processed by our website host (Netlify Forms) and delivered to the CareTeam. Because this form is not part of our clinical record system, please do not include health information, symptoms, diagnoses or details about a patient in it. If you need to share clinical information, use the secure portal or call us.
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which may record technical request data under Google's privacy policy. No other third-party resources load on this site.
This site links to Heart Galleries of Texas, Carry Good Forward Foundation and our scheduling portal. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
This website is intended for adults, including parents and guardians seeking care for children. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
